CBR
CBR with optional integrated thermo switchis a medium power range line from the ALPHA ALUMINIUM HOUSED COMPACT BRAKE RESISTOR family.
The Power Range is 220W to 1700W (up to 3400W with 3 profiles). The resistors are electrically insulated and having small dimensions fit into compact constructions. They are especially designed to endure high pulse loads compared to the average load. An example: 60X PN for one second every 120s.
Danotherm has developed Thermal Simulation for all resistor types and resistor values. By using these models we are able to predict the temperature rises of the resistor wire and of the surface for all possible load applications. We offer our assistance to our customers to find the optimum solution for any situation.
The resistors comply with IP50, IP21 or IP65 giving electrical and thermal protection. The resistors are Silicone free.
This range is approved to UL 508, (E208678).
