Charging and Motor Starter Resistors
For controlling the peak current when starting a frequency converter or a motor a resistor can be connected for a short while.
For smaller systems Danotherm supplies ceramic wirewound resistors, often for direct soldering on PC-boards.
For larger systems the Alpha resistors will be the best choice.
Intrinsically safe operation is often required and Danotherm uses thermal simulation to optimize the resistors and if required we can test the functionality on our testing laboratory.
